SUMMARY:Gun Safety And Handling Course
DESCRIPTION:The club has partnered with Dave Chang and his company\, Civilian Defense Concepts\, LLC along with our new member Anna Cousins to provide this Gun Safety And Handling Course. \nNew to the firearms world?  Need a refresher?\nCome spend a few hours with us to learn the rules of gun safety and some fundamental firearms handling skills that will get you on the range in no time.\nWe will cover topics like: \n\nFirearms Safety\nSafe Firearm storage\nConcealed Carry Permits\nLoading magazines\nAiming\nHold and stance\nAmmunition selection\nProper trigger press\n\nAnd more!\nYou do not need to own your own firearm.\nIf you have your own firearm\, please feel free to bring it.\nNO LIVE AMMO in the classroom.  This is a non shooting course. Range time will be set up individually with participants (if needed) as a separate class. \nDave is the lead instructor for Civilian Defense Concepts and brings over a quarter of a century of training experience to the table. He is currently an NRA Training Counselor (pistol\, rifle\, shotgun\, home firearms safety\, CCW)\, NRA Refuse to be a Victim instructor (crime prevention course)\, NRA Chief Range Safety Officer\, an NRA LE Certified Instructor (pistol\, patrol rifle\, and shotgun)\, Sig Sauer Academy Certified Semi-Auto Pistol Instructor and a graduate of their Master Pistol Instructor and Pistol Mounted Red Dot Optics Instructor programs.
